Job description

Instawork's on-demand labor marketplace is uniquely valuable for robotics and physical AI training. We're working with leading frontier labs to create the highest-quality, highest-diversity dataset for training robotics foundation models. Instawork Robotics is the human advantage in the robotics revolution. 

The Instawork Robotics Mobile Developer will own the custom, AI-enabled app we use for distributed robotics data collection.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced mobile app developer, with at least 5 years of iOS and Android development experience, excluding internships.
  • An iOS expert, with at least 2 years of native Swift programming experience.
  • Scalability-focused, you've published apps used by a distributed, global user base.
  • CX-obsessed, with a bias towards continuously improving the app experience based on user feedback and app analytics.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with ARKit, XR apps, and/or data collection apps.
  • Experience shipping production code at an early-stage or mid-stage startup
  • Cross-platform development experience, ideally including Android and Unity

What You'll Do:

  • App Development - own the end-to-end development of the Instawork Pro Capture app, implementing features including new CV capabilities, internationalization, analytics, and integration with our data pipeline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with robotics leadership, data ops, QA, and other engineering teams to ensure alignment from concept to deployment.

  • The base salary for this position is between $170K to $200K
