NIMBL is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer For the Mobility team. The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for: developing, maintaining and executing test suites for ensuring quality of various applications supported by the IT department; conducting both functional and performance tests (load tests) to support releases of new and existing applications and projects; participating in project and lifecycle activities as a QA Lead to ensure appropriate level of testing is conducted, escalating problems as required and informing management as appropriate; providing input on go live decisions for business critical projects; participating in analysis of new industry trends and tools as applicable for improvement to QA practices; assisting in capturing and tracing operational metrics to understand performance and ensuring success in process improvements; providing technical coaching/mentoring to less experienced team members; developing accurate time estimates for testing activities based on project requirements; planning and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines, while planning and tracking status on several projects at once; and adjusting to constant business change and changing requirements.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a software quality assurance test engineer
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in creating test cases / plans, test scenarios and report defects using HP-ALM 11.0, Quality Center
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with functional testing, system testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, regression testing, OTA installation testing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with creating test scripts for iOS/Android/ Windows based applications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with mobile based applications with SAP backend
  • Experience working with an SAP Mobility Solution
  • Experience with testing on web services using SOAP UI tool, preferred
  • Experience with VBScript , .Net, SQL Server 2008, preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of scripting experience with JavaScript, QTP, SOSTA, preferred
