Epitec is seeking to hire an Infotainment Function Owner / HMI Development Lead to support a global commercial vehicle manufacturer. This individual will lead the development of infotainment and multimedia functions, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders worldwide, drive certification activities, manage suppliers, and ensure successful delivery of HMI features including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, HD Radio, and audio systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead global development of HMI and infotainment component functions
  • Own multimedia functions including:
    • Apple CarPlay
    • Android Auto
    • FM/AM Radio
    • SiriusXM
    • HD Radio
    • Multimedia platforms
    • Phone connectivity
  • Create and manage technical concepts, requirements, and specifications
  • Coordinate implementation, testing, validation, and verification activities
  • Lead audio tuning activities and collaborate with external partners
  • Coordinate certification efforts for:
    • Apple CarPlay
    • Android Auto
    • WiFi/Bluetooth
    • SiriusXM
    • HD Radio
    • Country-specific regulatory approvals
  • Manage project timelines, scope, bug fixes, and risk mitigation
  • Coordinate suppliers and global stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Analyze infotainment defects and drive resolution activities
  • Create technical presentations, reports, and project documentation
Requirements
Required
  • Master's degree in Automotive Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of automotive product development experience
  • 2+ years as an Infotainment Function Owner
  • Experience with automotive ECU development
  • Experience with:
    • CAN
    • Ethernet
    • AUTOSAR
  • Experience with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration
  • Experience with multimedia and audio systems
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience coordinating suppliers and global teams
Preferred
  • Audio tuning experience
