Nightwing is seeking experienced Android Mobile Application Developers to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidates will bring strong low-level programming expertise, hands-on experience with the Android NDK, and a proven ability to work across the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and debug Android mobile applications
  • Work extensively with native code using the Android NDK
  • Develop and integrate C/C++ libraries within Android applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions
  • Troubleshoot performance, stability, and compatibility issues
  • Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards

Required Qualifications
  • Current TS/SCI with Poly Clearance
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging applications using C and Python
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience with the Android NDK
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and native development
  • Experience working through the full software development lifecycle

Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging applications using C++ or Java
  • Experience optimizing native code for performance and memory usage on Android devices
  • Familiarity with Android SDK, build systems, and debugging tools

Additional Skills (Preferred)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a contract-based environment
