Position Overview
The Administrative Director of Emergency Services ensures superior, patient-centered care through leadership excellence, operational oversight, and clinical quality across multiple Emergency Department sites. This role fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence, while guiding the development and execution of departmental strategies aligned with organizational and market objectives.

The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with proven expertise in emergency services management, capable of optimizing care delivery, staff performance, and operational outcomes in a complex, high-volume healthcare setting.

Emergency Department Summary

  • 52 beds in the main Emergency Department + 2 Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
  • Level II Trauma Over 2,500 trauma patients on registry in 2024
  • 15% of trauma cases involve penetrating trauma
  • 80,000+ annual visits across all three ED locations

Reporting Structure

  • Administrative Director reports directly to the COO
  • ER Director reports to the Administrative Director
  • Three (3) Nurse Managers report into the ER Director
  • Staff includes ~150 FTEs
  • Trauma services do not report into the ED

  • 3+ years of recent Acute Care ED Director or Manager experience required (multi-site or large ED preferred).
  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred.

  • Proven ability to implement evidence-based practice and drive strategic outcomes.

Schedule

  • Full-Time | Days | No weekends required

Compensation & Incentives

  • Salary Range (Based on experience):
    • Minimum: $116,251
    • Midpoint: $145,308
    • Maximum: $174,366
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 17.5% (Director-level performance-based)
