CNC Machine Operator (All Shifts Available!)
$2,000 Hiring Bonus!!
Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing specializes in the manufacturing of high-performance carbide cutting tools. We are looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team.
Any experience working with Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, or ANCA is a plus!
Job Duties:
  • Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments
  • Learn how to setup CNC machines
  • Identify and use the correct tools while maintaining tight measurements and tolerances
  • Follow detailed instructions and operating procedures
  • Install/change tools and correctly position materials in the CNC machines
  • Adjust machine settings and fixtures to ensure the part meets requirements
  • Use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts
  • Read part drawings/blue prints

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
  • Experience with G&M Code is a plus but not required
  • Candidates with previous experience operation CNC grinding equipment (Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, ANCA) is a plus but not required
