Job description

A healthcare network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Pathologist to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Monmouth County.
About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Weekdays (with weekend and off-hours call for frozen sections)
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Centralized Lab environment (onsite)
Responsibilities:
  • Performing frozen sections
  • Providing on-site STAT pathology support
  • Working within a hub-and-spoke model
  • Collaborating with centralized support systems
  • Ensuring quality pathology services with reduced grossing responsibilities
  • Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
  • Board Eligible / Certified in Pathology
  • Anatomic Pathology (AP) licensure
  • Experience in Frozen Section procedures
  • Generalist Pathology skillset
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine degree
