Job Summary:
The Supervisor, Anatomic Pathology responsible for the daily operations management of autopsy suite, Cytology and AP support ensuring timely service with quality standard are met. Develops mechanisms to measure monitor and improve specimen processing and quality, timely delivers and excellent customer service. Participates in research projects.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Health Sciences and completion of an NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant Program
  • Five (5) years Pathologist Assistant experience
  • Pathologists' Assistant certification (ASCP/AAPA)
  • Knowledge of all Pathologist Assistant processes and ability to perform all duties related to the requirements of the certification of that role.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of radiation oncology operations and office management
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, State laws, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills, written, verbal and listening.
  • Ability to proactively manage change to minimize resistance and maximize engagement.
  • Ability to analyze and correlate data from various sources
  • Effective leadership abilities - ability to teach, coach and mentor
  • Ability to adapt and uphold HHC core values of Integrity, Caring, Excellence and Safety towards our patients, one another, and the organization.
