Summary
Balfour Beatty is seeking a Project Manager to join our team for a Federal Project in Washington, DC, that includes a kitchen renovation. The project team is working nights, 10p-7a, but this project manager can work during the day out of the Falls Church, VA office. The PM would need to be able to visit the jobsite early mornings (5am) to meet with the team a few days a week and also run a virtual meeting at 8am three times a week.
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of this construction project. In this position, the incumbent directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitable, adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Ten years or more of commercial construction experience
  • Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
  • Experience with project manager software (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Experience with Change order administration.
  • Must be capable of reading, writing, and conversing fluently in the English language
  • Must have experience with scheduling

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with eMCS, cost-loaded CPM schedules using Primavera P6 and time impact analysis
  • Experience with BIM tools and lean construction practices.
  • Preferred that the person has kitchen renovation experience, and AOC or Federal project experience.
  • CQM certification

Pay Rate: $120,000-135,000.*
