Job Overview:
An experienced System Engineer is needed to support modernization initiatives within complex operational environments. This role focuses on evaluating emerging technologies, supporting system integration efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance mission capabilities. This position is fully on-site in Honolulu, HI.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies for operational use
  • Identify system integration challenges and assess technical risks
  • Support planning and execution of demonstrations and experimentation efforts
  • Develop technical documentation, assessments, and briefings
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, operational units, and acquisition stakeholders
  • Assist in transitioning validated technologies into broader implementation pipelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of experience (Senior level) or 15+ years (SME level)
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Background supporting defense systems or technology development programs
  • Strong understanding of system design, integration, and risk analysis
  • Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAWIA Engineering certification or equivalent
  • Experience with major acquisition programs (ACAT), urgent operational needs, or adaptive acquisition frameworks
