Job description

Join SOLJETS as a Sales Director to lead sales, expand our client base, and foster relationships with high-net-worth clients in private jet brokerage.

Position Summary

As a Sales Director at SOLJETS, you will be responsible for leading and driving sales efforts without geographic limitations, allowing you to find and develop client relationships wherever opportunities arise. You will have a regional territory in which you will focus on building relationships and attending relevant events within this territory, you are also encouraged to pursue new business and cultivate connections beyond this area. Your primary focus will be on expanding our client base, achieving revenue targets, and fostering strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and other potential clients interested in private jet brokerage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share, focusing on the your region while also pursuing opportunities beyond this territory.
  • Work closely with Sales Analysts to create proposals, market summaries, aircraft comparisons and any other presentations needed for your client interactions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
2. Business Development
  • Identify new business opportunities and formulate effective plans to penetrate the market.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
3. Market Analysis
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments that may impact the private jet brokerage market.
  • Analyze regional market data and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
4. Budget &Forecasting
  • Prepare and manage the annual sales, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to the executive team, highlighting progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
5. Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with internal and external departments, including Operations, Finance, and Legal, to ensure seamless and efficient client onboarding and post-sales support.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management, reporting on sales performance and progress towards company-wide goals.
Qualifications &Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; NBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least five years in sales, preferably within the private jet, brokerage aircraft, maintenance, sales flight, training, charter, sales or luxury services industries.
  • Deep understanding of the private and corporate aviation market, and its dynamics, especially within your designated region.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and work collaboratively with all functions within subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive strategic decision making.
  • Willingness to travel within your designated region is required to meet with clients and support the sales team.
