Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Mongo DB Analyst.
 
Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract w/ extension. 
Location: Charlotte, NC / San Antonio, TX /Dallas, TX – 3 days hybrid on-site role
 
As a MongoDB Analyst, you will:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Scrum teams and business analysts to gather, define, and refine data requirements
  • Design, structure, and optimize MongoDB collections to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Translate business requirements into clear, well-defined technical user stories
  • Write, review, and refine user stories related to MongoDB data processes
  • Perform and support manual and automated data quality checks (QA/QC)
  • Analyze and manage financial data, including accounting records, cash transactions, and general ledger (GL) data
  • Support backend data design for the Internal Credit Intelligence platform and related systems
  • Ensure accurate handling of normalized and unstructured data for reporting and analytical use cases
  • Document processes, data models, and requirements with strong written communication
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Hands-on MongoDB experience
  • Strong understanding of data normalization and unstructured data concepts
  • Experience working with accounting systems, customer financial data, and general ledger (GL)
  • Proven ability to structure and un-structure data for analytics and reporting
  • Experience managing or analyzing cash flows and financial transactions
  • Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements and user stories
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Adaptable, transferable skills to support evolving data and business needs
 
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience designing or supporting backend data systems
  • Hands-on experience with data quality management and manual QA/QC processes
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
