Position Summary

We are seeking an analytical, detail-driven FP&A Pricing Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our pricing strategies and driving top-line revenue and margin growth. You will build sophisticated financial models, analyze market trends, and evaluate the financial impact of pricing decisions to guide executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Analytics

  • Build and maintain comprehensive pricing models to evaluate different scenarios and recommend optimal price points.
  • Analyze the impact of pricing changes, promotions, and discounts on gross margins and overall company profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth competitor pricing analysis and market research to ensure our products remain competitive yet profitable.
  • Develop pricing segmentation strategies across different customer types, channels, and product lines.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with accurate pricing assumptions.
  • Perform variance analysis to monitor the financial performance of implemented pricing strategies against actual budgeted results.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to provide data-driven pricing intelligence for new product launches and contract negotiations.

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Create executive-level dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to pricing and profitability.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Finance leadership to align pricing models with revenue recognition requirements and corporate revenue targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, pricing analysis, or financial modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, financial modeling) is required. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong aptitude for data analysis, consumer psychology, and mathematical forecasting.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
