The Director, Investor Relations shapes and executes the organization's investor relations strategy and serves as a primary liaison between the company and the investment community. The role partners closely with executive leadership to communicate the company's financial and operational performance, capital allocation priorities, and long-term strategy to shareholders, sell-side analysts, and institutional investors. The role leads the quarterly earnings cycle and oversees investor days, conferences, and roadshows, ensuring clear and consistent messaging. The role also supports the company's public disclosure and regulatory compliance-including SEC reporting and Regulation FD-in partnership with Legal and Accounting.
  • Leads and mentors the investor relations team and designs the company's investor communications strategy, aligned with its long-term financial and strategic goals.
  • Partners with executive leadership to define messaging and positioning, ensuring consistency across all investor communications.
  • Owns the quarterly earnings cycle-including the earnings release, prepared remarks, and Q&A preparation-and leads investor days, roadshows, and conferences. Serves as a primary point of contact for institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manages relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional (buy-side) investors; tracks analyst coverage, consensus estimates, and shareholder composition; and leads investor targeting and perception studies.
  • Leads investor communications for strategic transactions and integration-from announcement through close-in partnership with Corporate Development and Finance.
  • Interprets capital markets, commodity-price, and peer dynamics for leadership, and communicates the company's capital allocation and return-of-capital framework, including the dividend and share-repurchase strategy.
  • Supports the company's public disclosure obligations-including the Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and proxy statement-and Regulation FD compliance, in partnership with Legal and Accounting.
  • Provides strategic counsel to executive leadership, manages the IR budget and vendor relationships, and defines KPIs aligned with the company's investor relations strategy and goals.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Relations, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
Experience:
12+ years of relevant experience with 6-8 years of management experience, preferably in investor relations, capital markets, equity research, corporate finance, or a related field, with exposure to financial analysis, earnings events, and regulatory disclosure. Energy / oil & gas industry experience is strongly preferred.
Certifications:
