Job description

STS Technical Services is hiring a Project Analyst in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This in-person role supports project coordination across Harley-Davidson, with a focus on motorcycle developmental fleet management, engineering build support and motorcycle retrofit tracking.
The Project Analyst will work within the Product Line Engineering team and support platform functions and logistics for mock-up and test vehicles at the Product Development Center.
Position Overview
The Project Analyst provides project support and coordination for one or multiple projects. Primary activities include coordinating motorcycle and powertrain build events, managing vehicle and parts logistics, supporting certification and regulatory testing and maintaining key vehicle usage records.
This role is best suited for someone with strong organizational skills, motorcycle Bill of Material experience or equivalent knowledge and the ability to manage project details across vehicles, parts, tools, schedules and documentation.
Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate motorcycle and/or powertrain build events
  • Generate build parts lists
  • Order and track incoming parts
  • Manage inventory and parts shipments
  • Manage fleet of motorcycles
  • Manage vehicle orders, dispositions and shipping logistics
  • Coordinate vehicle set-up and maintenance
  • Coordinate retrofits and work orders
  • Maintain vehicle calendar of usage and owners
  • Support certification and regulatory testing with vehicles
  • Manage motorcycle mock-up area
  • Maintain and organize race bay vehicles and workspaces
  • Maintain tools and equipment to support mock-up activities

Education Requirements
  • Technical or Engineering degree preferred

Experience Requirements
  • Proficient with software tools including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Ability to generate small reports, graphs, tables and spreadsheets
  • Motorcycle Bill of Material experience or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of BOM structure, part attributes and configurations
  • General knowledge of motorcycles preferred
  • Strong communication skills
