  • Use forensic accounting techniques to uncover hidden patterns and suspicious activities
  • Work with government, defense, and inter‑agency partners to integrate financial forensics into strategic mission planning
  • Provide analyses that inform critical decisions and shape policies addressing emerging financial threats
  • Analyze departmental and business‑unit performance to identify financial risks and opportunities
  • Develop actionable risk‑mitigation and improvement recommendations
  • Support financial planning, budget reviews, capital planning, and long‑term financial strategies through a threat‑finance lens
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions and partnerships for financial integrity
  • Build databases and generate dynamic visual reports using advanced analytics tools
  • Present insights highlighting vulnerabilities and tracking strategic initiatives preventing financial crimes
  • Assist with business cases and perform due diligence for deals and partnerships
  • Ensure analyses comply with relevant financial policies and laws

Requirements
  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s in forensic accounting, finance, or a related field with specialized financial forensics coursework
  • 9+ years in forensic financial analysis, AML, or fraud investigations
  • Experience in government or intelligence settings
  • Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility with Counterintelligence polygraph required
  • Proficiency with financial systems such as Bloomberg and FactSet
  • Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable data analytics tools
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Preferred: Master’s in finance, forensic accounting, or a related field
  • Preferred: CPA or CFE certification
  • Preferred: 15+ years in forensic accounting, AML, or fraud detection within government, defense, or intelligence environments
  • Preferred: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and forensic analytics
  • Preferred: Experience integrating multi‑source data for regulatory reporting and investigative modeling
  • Preferred: Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and communicating complex findings to senior leadership in joint or DoD environments
