SPA seeks a Learning Specialist and Engagement Coordinator to join our Talent Development and Employee Experience team. This role is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of employee learning and engagement programs across the organization and combines learning and development responsibilities with employee engagement, event coordination, communications, and program administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple levels of the organization. They will partner with Human Resources, managers, subject matter experts, and employees to deliver meaningful learning experiences, increase participation in development programs, and strengthen employee engagement and connection.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support the design, development, and delivery of employee training and professional development programs.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop and maintain training content, job aids, presentations, and other learning resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, participation metrics, and other measures.
  • Develop and implement innovative eLearning solutions using Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate 360.
  • Deliver training sessions, ensuring an effective transfer of knowledge and a high level of participant engagement.
  • Administer the Rewards and Recognition platform and support initiatives and help promote company programs, resources, and accomplishments.
  • Plan and execute employee events, activities, workshops, town halls, recognition programs, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Develop creative ways to increase employee participation in learning and engagement programs.
  • Gather and analyze employee feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in instructional design and engagement.
  • Proficiency in Skillsoft LMS, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate 360.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.

Preferred:
  • Experience in Leadership Development and Career Development.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills with experience in conducting training sessions.
  • Experience with various Rewards and Recognition Platforms, Nectar and/or AwardCo preferred.
  • Familiarity with eLearning standards such as SCORM and AICC.

Pay Range Information
At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent. Elements of the compensation package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. SPA provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, etc. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $78,000.00/Yr. - USD $112,000.00/Yr.
