Job description

We are a passionate team committed to our vision of creating financial solutions that make lives better and we're seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Corporate Finance team and help share the financial future of the Credit Union.
As the FP&A Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to leaders across the Credit Union, delivering forward-looking insights that guide business decisions and support long-term growth. Leading the annual budgeting process, forecasting cycles, and financial modeling activities, you will help optimize resource allocation and organizational performance by identifying key trends, risks and opportunities. Additionally, you'll partner with leaders to align financial plans with strategic objectives while enhancing FP&A processes, tools and reporting capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, strengthen financial planning practices, and make a meaningful impact on the Credit Union's financial health and long-term success.
What you'll need to be successful:
  • FP&A Leadership & Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. Strong understanding of Asset/Liability Management (ALM), balance sheet analytics, key financial drivers and financial risk assessment.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, evaluate scenarios, and identify trends, key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations. Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability communication complex financial information to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, align financial plans with strategic objectives and influence decision making though data-driven insights.
  • Experience & Education: At least five years of relevant experience in FP&A, forecasting, financial modeling and ALM. Prior experience in a credit union or other financial institution with a focus in lending or investments analytics is preferred. Experience with ALM forecasting software and budgeting/reporting programs is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required.
