Job Responsibilities:
This position requires availability prior to semester courses beginning and post-semester in order to:
- Conduct human performance testing and follow-on data analysis.
- Assist Human Performance Lab Director/Coordinator and other Exercise Science faculty in the management and conduct of human performance research in the laboratory and field.
- Assist in concept and protocol development, data collection and analysis, and manuscript preparation and publication.
- Assist the HPL Director in teaching and supervising laboratory courses
- Identify, communicate, and rectify laboratory maintenance concerns, including but not limited to:
- Equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement
- Facilities maintenance and repair
- Maintains open and frequent communication with HPL Director/Coordinator and other Exercise Science faculty regarding HPL updates, equipment, policies, procedures, and announcements.
- Identifies, monitors, and addresses problematic issues within the HPL. Works in consultation with the HPL Director/Coordinator on course/program hours, length of program, policies, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled one of the following Maryville GA programs:
- Exercise science
- Data science
- Physical therapy
- Education
Preferred Qualifications
- Exercise science or kinesiology undergrads are preferred

- Need to be able to lift and move 40lbs
Stipend for the academic year: $3000
Tuition Award: 6 credit hours for the academic year
Hours per week: 15-20
