As a vital team member, your role goes beyond the ordinary- it is about creating a memorable atmosphere for our visitors. Guest Services Team Members are the face of Luna Park in Coney Island, delivering exceptional customer service to guests while creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable amusement park experience. This role supports daily park operations by assisting guests with directions, ticketing support, ride information, accessibility needs, and general inquiries, while upholding Luna Parkโ€™s standards for safety, hospitality, and fun.

Job Description:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service at all times
  • Assist guests with directions, park information, ride locations, and general inquiries
  • Support ticketing, wristband scanning, and admission processes as needed
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints calmly and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate
  • Promote park rules, safety guidelines, and policies to ensure a safe environment for all guests
  • Monitor assigned areas to maintain cleanliness, order, and guest flow
  • Provide assistance to guests with accessibility needs or special accommodations
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding guest issues, incidents, or operational needs
  • Represent Luna Parkโ€™s brand values by maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support park operations
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in cash handling and customer service is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests of all ages
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak seasonal hours
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work area.
  • Follow all CAI policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
