The Customer Service Representative will be the face of the agency, handling all walk ins, answering phone calls, helping with claims, and other administrative tasks. Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries regarding policy coverage, billing, and claims
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently
  • Assist clients with the initial steps of filing claims and follow up on claim status
  • Explain coverage options, premiums, and policy terms in clear, easy-to-understand language
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional coverage (auto, home, life, umbrella, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
  • Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to the appropriate department
  • Collaborate with agents and underwriters to ensure smooth policy servicing
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and response-time goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service experience (insurance or financial services preferred)
  • Active state Property Casualty (PC) license, or willingness to obtain within [X] days of hire
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM/agency management software (e.g., AMS360, EZLynx, Applied Epic) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a client-first attitude
