Job description

Company Overview

We are partnering with a rapidly growing luxury residential technology integrator serving some of South Florida's most prestigious homes and estates. Specializing in high-end smart home automation, lighting control, networking, AV, and integrated technology solutions, this company has quickly earned a reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and white-glove service on multimillion-dollar residential projects.

Their vision extends far beyond today's projects—they're building a best-in-class integration company through operational excellence, strategic growth, and a culture centered around accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

Why Join Us?

This isn't just another Project Manager position—it's an opportunity to help build something exceptional.

You'll become one of the foundational leaders in a fast-growing organization where your voice matters, your ideas are welcomed, and your performance directly influences the company's future. If you're someone who enjoys creating processes, mentoring technicians, solving problems before they become issues, and delivering projects that clients rave about, you'll thrive here.

What makes this opportunity unique:

  • Lead luxury residential projects from start to finish
  • Help shape company culture and operational standards
  • Significant performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Potential future equity opportunities tied to company growth and contribution
  • Work alongside ownership that values transparency, innovation, and long-term career development
  • Be part of an organization focused on becoming one of the premier luxury integration firms in the market

Position Overview

Our partner is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager who has grown through the ranks as a technician and understands what it takes to successfully deliver complex residential integration projects.

This is a hands-on leadership position—not an office-only project management role. You'll oversee multiple active projects, coordinate field teams, maintain client communication, ensure exceptional execution, and step into technical situations whenever necessary.

Success in this role means consistently delivering projects on time, maintaining impeccable jobsite standards, building strong relationships with homeowners, builders, architects, and designers, and creating an experience that generates repeat business and referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple residential integration projects from pre-wire through final client handoff
  • Lead and mentor technicians and installers while maintaining accountability for project quality
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet company quality standards
  • Serve as the primary field contact for homeowners, builders, architects, designers, and trade partners
  • Identify potential issues early and proactively implement solutions before they impact project delivery
  • Maintain white-glove presentation standards across technicians, vehicles, jobsites, and customer interactions
  • Oversee project documentation, scheduling, change orders, and workflow management using project management software (D-Tools preferred)
  • Coordinate with electricians and other trades throughout all construction phases
  • Assist with programming adjustments, commissioning, troubleshooting, and final system verification as needed
  • Enforce company processes while helping develop new operational standards and best practices
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • Support business growth by creating exceptional customer experiences that generate referrals, repeat clients, and long-term service relationships

Technical Experience

  • Experience managing luxury residential smart home integration projects
  • Strong understanding of residential construction phases from rough-in through final trim and commissioning
  • Experience with one or more major automation platforms such as:
  • Savant
  • Lutron HomeWorks
  • Control4
  • Josh.ai
  • Working knowledge of AV, networking, lighting control, motorized shades, surveillance, and integrated systems
  • Experience using D-Tools or comparable project management/documentation software preferred

Leadership Qualities

We're looking for someone who:

  • Leads from the front and isn't afraid to jump in when needed
  • Takes ownership rather than making excuses
  • Is proactive, organized, and highly detail-oriented
  • Communicates exceptionally well with clients and internal teams
  • Holds themselves and others to high standards
  • Notices problems before they become expensive mistakes
  • Takes pride in craftsmanship and presentation
  • Wants to build a team—not simply manage one
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment

Culture Fit

The ideal candidate believes that excellence is found in the details.

You understand that clean racks, organized vans, tidy jobsites, professional appearance, prompt communication, and thoughtful client interactions all contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

You're passionate about your craft, take pride in your work, and naturally inspire those around you to raise their standards.

If you're looking for a role where you simply clock in and clock out, this won't be the right fit.

If you're looking to build something meaningful and grow alongside an ambitious company, we'd love to speak with you.

Compensation

Base Salary: $105,000–$115,000 (Based on Experience)

In addition to base salary, this role includes a robust performance-based bonus structure tied to project execution, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and company growth. High performers have the opportunity to earn substantially above their base salary.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonus program
  • Paid Time Off
  • Company Holidays
  • Professional development and training
  • Career advancement opportunities
  • Potential future equity participation
  • Opportunity to help build the future of a rapidly growing luxury integration company
