Ampersand Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time role, focused on remote work from Hialeah, Florida. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually. • Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs accurately and collaboratively formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Engage with clients, listening attentively to their concerns and diagnosing mental or emotional disorders based on established clinical criteria.
• Implement effective coping strategies and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient goals.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and their families about stress and trauma management techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their wellness.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social agencies, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support services are available to our clients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, completing continuing education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on advancements within the field.

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients who have experienced significant psychological distress. These clients often face a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Your expertise will guide them in working towards recovery, helping them to manage symptoms and improve their overall quality of life.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of experience providing therapy to trauma patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for efficient documentation and communication.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

• Experience using Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, which can enhance case management and office workflow efficiency.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care approaches.
