Job description

Requirements:

  • MD or DO candidates

  • Urology residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program

  • Board certified or board eligible candidates required

  • Additional training or experience in endourology is a plus!

  • Seeking candidates ready to begin practice June 2026 (allowing 120 days for credentialing)

Position Details:

  • Employed position with Texas Health Urology Specialists, part of Texas Health Physicians Group, including attractive compensation and benefits package

  • The staffing plan is in place with four Urology hospitalists to cover all the ER call. Outpatient urology physicians will not have any unassigned hospital call.

  • This practice uses Epic EMR, as does the hospital so information is seamless

  • Practice is located on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, a Level I Trauma Hospital, in a recently remodeled clinic that includes 17 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms.

  • 21st century urologic equipment and capabilities. These include the following:

    • Transperineal biopsy suite

    • BK5000 with MR fusion capability in the clinic

    • Cystoscopy suites linked to PACS

  • This opening is in a central location with access to all the amenities the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex has to offer - the schedule provides great hours and a good work-life balance.

  • The practice is up-and-running and has a great referral base. There is opportunity to grow the practice in different areas in the Metroplex.
