Job description

Oversees the organizational and technical support for the data warehouse. Accountable for the
delivery and maintenance of the data warehouse architecture and business intelligence
framework that meets the short and long term goals of Partnership.


Leads and manages the Data Warehouse Team, providing direction, coaching, and
performance feedback.
Develops requirements and designs for the data warehouse solutions with input from the
business.
Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation and a roadmap for the data
warehouse.
Ensures the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data assets.
Designs, develops, and maintains SSIS packages to support Extract, Transform, and Load
(ETL) processes within the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Supports master data management initiatives and ensure alignment with data governance
practices.
Maintains and updates the enterprise data directory to ensure consistency and
accessibility of data definitions.
Assigns work to staff and supports them in analysis, design, and database use.
Oversees the development of internal reports.
Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of the AMISYS table structure and content.
Develops and maintains in-depth understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, business
intelligence software, and other databases.
Provides feedback to staff regarding performance.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Researches trends in data warehousing and business intelligence. Recommends strategies
which support the company’s strategic plans.
Participates in special projects and assignments as needed.
Provides expert guidance to the user community.


Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required;
Master’s preferred; five plus (5+) years systems analysis experience
with a focus on enterprise data warehousing.

 

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Knowledge of databases including MS SQL Server, Oracle and
Busienss Objects. Knowledge of data warehousing, data marts, OLAP,
ROLAP, and MOLAP. Significant knowledge of HealthEdge and or
AMISYS is a plus. Understands Data Warehouse design concepts,
should know Kimball methodology.

 

Performance Based Competencies

Ability to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new systems and
software configurations; strong written and oral communication skills;
excellent analytical skills; good client relationship skills. Strong
analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

Most work time is spent in front of a computer monitor. May also be
required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.

$136,296.78 - $177,185.82
