Job description

Salary: $34-$39

West End Family Counseling Services has an opening for a Part-time (20 hours per week) therapist. This position has the opportunity to provide mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families in clinic and community settings. Join a multi-disciplinary team providing clinical counseling to consumers in West San Bernardino County. Will be providing individual/family/group therapy, rehab ADL counseling/skill building, case management services. Work in a challenging, supportive, and rewarding environment. Please review SKILLS below carefully as only qualified applicants will be considered. We welcome candidates who are new graduates and those with more experience.


Job Functions:


  • Provides mental health assessments for clients to determine the need for mental health treatment.
  • Develops treatment plans and identifies goals based on information gathered during the assessment.
  • Experience counseling adults and families in mental health or community settings. (provides individual, family, and group counseling)
  • Deliver rehabilitation/ADL skillbuilding and case management services
  • All required documentation is completed within Agency timelines for each assigned case and is in accordance with Medi-Cal standards.
  • Perform additional program-related tasks as assigned.


Requirements:


  • Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Eligible licensure/registration: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, AMFT, ACSW, APCC
  • Must be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Availability for a 20hour weekly schedule (34 days), including one evening.
