AmeriMed Consultation and Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client mood disorders by evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.
  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their individual requirements and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the treatment process.
  • Monitor client progress continuously and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual progress and feedback.
  • Engage in integrated care procedures by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.
  • Stay informed about new research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to improved client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits
