Work Environment

This position is based at our Rehabilitation Center in Princeton, New Jersey, where you will work collaboratively in a dynamic onsite environment. The working hours are Monday through Friday, amounting to a 40-hour weekly commitment, with flexibility built into our schedules to best meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment programs based on individual needs and medical history.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for patients with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions, ensuring that each treatment aligns with prescribed plans of care.
  • Deliver compassionate care both in the facility and through home visits when necessary, consistently applying therapeutic techniques to facilitate functional improvements.
  • Consult, educate, and empower patients and their caregivers, helping them understand their treatment plans and the importance of adherence to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology and methodologies in rehabilitation, collaborating with your team to examine patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Exceed organizational performance benchmarks by meeting minimum utilization goals while providing exceptional customer service.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will range from children requiring pediatric physical therapy to adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries or sporting injuries. The diverse patient population ensures that you will continually adapt your approach and grow your skill set as you address a wide array of conditions and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from an accredited institution, such as the American Heart Association.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and colleagues.
