We are looking for a Cabinet Assemblerto support our EMI team in Tampa, FL.
Position Overview:
The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product. This role will perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Fit prefabricated wooden parts together to form complete units
  • Trim and smooth parts to fit using hand or power tools
  • Insert screws or dowels in predrilled holes
  • Install hardware
  • Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit using hand or power tools
  • Apply adhesive, bonding agent, sealant, or paint to completed unit
  • Clean foreign matter from the unit using cleaning solution
  • Read blueprints or engineer specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and all safety standards in assigned area
  • Support other departments as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Basic math skills

Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience
