Job description

Facilities Technician (Direct Hire)

We're hiring for a Facilities Technician to help maintain the equipment and systems that keep our manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently.

First Shift 8am-4pm M-FResponsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, air compressors, chillers, plumbing, electrical, and utility systems
  • Inspect equipment and identify maintenance or safety concerns
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies
  • Coordinate repairs with maintenance teams and outside contractors
  • Assist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations
  • Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately
  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures
  • Support production teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and facility equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or general building maintenance
  • Familiarity with building automation systems
  • Knowledge of utility systems and equipment reliability practices
