About TrendLife

TrendLife is Trend Micro's consumer division, dedicated to protecting everyday people in an increasingly complex digital world. Our portfolio spans scam prevention, identity protection, online privacy, and family safety - solutions designed for real people navigating real threats.

As online scams and digital fraud become one of the most pervasive consumer harms in North America, TrendLife is uniquely positioned to partner with organizations that have both the reach and the responsibility to protect their customers. We are growing our partner ecosystem across the Americas and looking for the right person to lead that effort.

The Role

This is a high-impact, externally-facing business development role responsible for building and scaling TrendLife's partner ecosystem across the Americas. You will identify, develop, and close distribution and integration partnerships that bring TrendLife's consumer protection solutions to everyday people through channels they already trust - their bank, their mobile carrier, or a government-backed consumer service.

This role sits at the intersection of consumer protection, commercial partnership, and policy engagement. You will be as comfortable shaping a commercial proposal with a telco's product team as you are representing Trend Micro at a government-convened consumer protection forum - and you will know how to turn both into tangible business outcomes.

Partner Acquisition - Telco, ISP & Financial Services

  • Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with mobile carriers, ISPs, banks, credit unions, fintechs, and payment platforms seeking to deliver consumer protection solutions to their customer bases.

  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organizations to develop commercially viable B2B2C models, including bundled services, embedded integrations, and co-branded offerings.

  • Navigate the commercial and compliance considerations inherent to partnering with regulated industries, positioning TrendLife as a credible and complementary solution.

Government, Non-Profit & Policy Engagement

  • Build relationships with government agencies, government-backed non-profits, and consumer advocacy bodies working on digital fraud, scam prevention, and online consumer safety.

  • Represent TrendLife in relevant policy forums, industry roundtables, and public consultations to shape consumer protection frameworks and position Trend Micro as a trusted industry voice.

  • Identify opportunities where government and civic partnerships can support broader consumer reach and open doors to large-scale protection deployments.

Go-to-Market & Commercial Execution

  • Own the full B2B2C partnership lifecycle: prospecting, commercial negotiation, contract closure, and partner activation.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each partner vertical, collaborating cross-functionally with TrendLife product, marketing, legal, and operations teams.

  • Maintain a structured pipeline, track key performance metrics, and report progress against regional targets.

Events, Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning

  • Represent Trend Micro and TrendLife at key industry events across North America in the consumer protection, financial services, and telecommunications space.

  • Participate in panels, working groups, and speaking opportunities to build Trend Micro's profile as a leader in consumer digital safety.

  • Identify emerging forums where TrendLife's presence can generate leads, strengthen partner relationships, or influence relevant policy conversations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, channel partnerships, or strategic sales within consumer technology, cybersecurity, fintech, telecommunications, or a consumer protection context.

  • Demonstrated experience building B2B2C or embedded consumer product partnerships, with a strong understanding of how consumer solutions reach everyday users through third-party channels.

  • Familiarity with the telco/ISP and/or banking sectors in North America, including how consumer product decisions are made and how value-added services are brought to market.

  • Experience engaging with government bodies, regulators, or non-profit organizations - in a business development, policy, or advocacy capacity - is a strong advantage.

  • Awareness of the North American consumer fraud and scam landscape, including the regulatory environment and key industry initiatives, is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder partnership cycles while maintaining momentum and building internal champions within partner organizations.

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills; able to engage credibly across product teams, C-suite leaders, policy advisors, and non-profit directors.

  • Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where building from the ground up is part of the role.

  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, high accountability, and a genuine commitment to consumer protection as a mission.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, public policy, or a related field. MBA or public policy qualification is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel domestically across the US and/or Canada as required.

Digital scams and online fraud are affecting millions of people across North America every year, and TrendLife exists to do something meaningful about it.
