The successful candidate will be based in Japan, Korea or Singapore

Are you a proven commercial leader with a track record of accelerating growth across Asia Pacific?

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Director of Sales, APAC to lead our commercial organisation across one of the world's most exciting and dynamic regions. Reporting to the VP Global Sales and Applications, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion and commercial excellence across Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex international environments and is passionate about building high-performing teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the APAC commercial strategy, delivering ambitious revenue, orders and profitability targets.

  • Inspire, coach and develop country leaders and sales teams across the region.

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, distributors and industry influencers.

  • Drive market expansion and identify new growth opportunities across established and emerging markets.

  • Champion sales excellence through forecasting, funnel management, pricing discipline and operational rigour.

  • Strengthen distributor and channel partner performance to maximise customer impact and regional growth.

  • Act as a key voice within the global leadership team, bringing market insights and strategic recommendations.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive leadership experience within scientific instrumentation, laboratory equipment, analytical technologies or a related technical B2B environment.

  • Demonstrated success delivering sustained growth across APAC markets.

  • Experience leading multi-country sales organisations and managing through influence in matrix environments.

  • Strong distributor and channel management expertise.

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or technical discipline (MBA desirable).

  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep understanding of APAC market dynamics, with experience in India's scientific instrumentation market highly advantageous.
