Position Details

Full - Time Opportunities

Year - Round School Calendar

Monday – Friday Day Schedule

Weekly Pay - Payday every Friday!

Competitive Pay: (based on years of experience)

Responsibilities

Provide classroom support under the direction of the teacher and school staff.

Assist students individually and in small groups with academic assignments and classroom activities.

Support students with behavioral interventions using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.

Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Document student progress and communicate with the educational team as needed.

Encourage student engagement, accountability, and personal growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience working with youth in educational, behavioral, juvenile justice, residential, or related settings preferred.

Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in challenging situations.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Must meet all LACOE hiring and clearance requirements.
