Job description

Roles: As a Sales Representative specializing in commercial disaster restoration, you will be a key contributor to our company’s growth strategy. We are an emergency response company that operates 24/7/365. Your primary role is to drive revenue generation by proactively seeking new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting our disaster restoration services. This is a full-time position. The sales representative will be expected to have 100 stops per week (20 stops a day) and use our CRM to help build the business. Your personal vehicle will be used for this position. A vehicle stipend will be given for fuel, maintenance, mileage, normal wear, and tear, etc for your vehicle. The vehicle stipend is non-taxable and does not count into your overall income. This is a result-based position. This position offers a 6-month trial/probationary period for anyone joining our team.

Minimum Requirements:

o 5 years in a sales position for Restoration

o We will ask and check references.

o Added bonus if you have a book of business (not required)

We want you to be successful in this position and we are looking for someone who knows what they are doing in sales.

Salary: $50,000.00 year + commission

Technically, your earnings are uncapped based on the business you bring in!! Do you know what that means? You earn your money based on the revenue you bring in from your accounts. Your hustle will be your greatest attribute for your earning potential. You are your biggest competition!

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

1. Sales Targets Achievement:

  • Develop and execute specific sales strategies to achieve a yearly sales target of $2,000,000/year.
  • Identify potential clients, initiate contact, build route schedules, communicate effectively and consistently.

o Clients are based on 12 different verticals we “chase” as a company.

o The verticals we are after are robust. You are not expected to chase all 12 verticals, everyone is different, we know that.

 We want you to grow and challenge yourself here. Get outside of your comfort zone and see where it takes you!

  • Have a “take no” attitude.

o HUSTLE, HUSTLE, HUSTLE!!

 Any seasoned sales representative knows sales can be challenging at times and you must be determined to WIN THE BUSINESS and get the business you deserve.

2. New Client Acquisition:

  • Prospect and target potential commercial clients who require disaster restoration services.
  • Clients are specific and vertical based.

o We have 12 different verticals we chase.

  • Aim to acquire a minimum of 6 new commercial clients annually, with each client generating at least $250,000 in revenue.

3. Client Retention:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to achieve a retention rate of 95% or higher.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Strive to develop programs within the organization. Obtain maximum wallet share.

4. Industry and Community Engagement:

  • Join a minimum of 2 industry or community organizations and actively participate in events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

o We aren’t picky, we want you to join what works for you and what will grow the business the most!

  • Leverage these engagements to expand your professional network and promote our services.

5. Event Participation:

  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events as directed by management.

o These could include this like: golf outings, tradeshows, client events, etc.

  • Effectively and professionally represent the company and showcase our disaster restoration capabilities.

6. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to formulate effective sales strategies targeting specific industries and markets.
  • Continuously refine approaches based on market trends and customer feedback.

7. Reporting and Analysis:

  • CRM – Customer Relation Management – this is the accountability software program that you will be required to complete DAILY. It is filled out per stop and includes your interactions with companies and people within the company. This is a vital tool that will help you track your efforts, build your weekly routes, etc.

The CRM when used properly will provide information including the

following:

1. Accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities.

2. Communication flow between client and sales personnel

3. Client interactions and consistency

4. Progress towards goals.

5. Sales reports and insights to the management team.

8. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitive offerings to ensure you’re a knowledgeable resource for clients.

o We have weekly training courses to ensure we stay competitive and the best in the business.

o We have marketing material readily available for you to prepare and give to clients.

9. Other Duties:

  • Undertake any other responsibilities or tasks assigned by management that contribute to the success of the sales team and company.

10. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). All Sales Representatives have KPI’s they are measured on. Below is an accurate example of what we measure our current sales team on:

1. Total Sales Revenue:

  • Achieve a yearly sales target of $2,000,000.

2. New Client Acquisition:

  • Secure a minimum of 6 new commercial clients annually, each generating at least $250,000.

3. Client Retention Rate:

  • Maintain a client retention rate of 90% or higher for existing clients.

4. Industry and Community Engagement:

  • Join and actively participate in a minimum of 2 industry or community organizations.

5. Event Participation:

  • Attending and actively engaging in industry or community events as directed by management.

6. Sales Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide timely reports to the management team.

o The CRM will be used and updated every day- this is your tool to keep management informed with what is going on in your day.

The company established many new services from window cleaning, janitorial services, carpet and upholstery cleaning, tile floor maintenance, water and fire damage and later mold clean-up. Our President recognized the opportunities of the restoration industry and guided the company to restoration services. In 2004 the President changed the dba (doing business as) to Amerestore, America’s Restoration Team.
