Description:
A facility in Saratoga, NY is looking for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum 3 years of current ICU experience and current New York State license required. Caregiver must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Caregiver must have knowledge of hypothermia, balloon pumps and pulmonary artery lines. Every other weekend/Holiday required. Must have EPIC experience. MUST have EPIC experience. Must be available through the holidays. **Will need to complete an on-site ECG exam that is closed booked and timed. Study material will be provided.
Requirements:
At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment. For additional and specialty-specific requirement, please contact us
Unit Details:
**Facility has COUNTY RESTRICTIONS** The Caregiver cannot reside in the following counties: WARREN, WASHINGTON, FULTON, MONTGOMERY, RENSSELAER, SCHENECTADY, COLUMBIA, GREENE, DUTCHESS, ULSTER, ALBANY. CHARTING: EPIC. - The caregiver will be required to take an ECG exam once they arrive at the facility. Study material is provided before start. If the caregiver does not get an 85% or higher or misses critical rhythms, the contract may be terminated. This is a timed, closed book exam. Study guide will be sent from hospital. We STRONGLY encourage review of this before the caregiver starts. -Candidates that have worked as staff at this facility in the past year will not be considered and candidates that have worked full time as staff within AMC network (AMC, GFH, Saratoga and CMH) within the past six months will not be considered.
