You help our guests discover the styles that reflect their lives and help them design rooms they will love to live in. This role will help the Sales team meet its goals by offering an extraordinary and one-of-a-kind customer focused store experience through exceptional service. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Greet, engage, and determine customer’s needs in the store to ensure we create a customer focused environment that ensures outstanding service.
* Take pride in achieving personal selling goals and contribute to the store achieving monthly sale goals.
* Maintains store appearance to merchandising & cleanliness standards.
* Positively and proactively help solve problems for our customers and balance multiple customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Influence customer buying decisions, by communicating information about the quality, value and style of product.
* Assist customers with furniture and fabric selections. Secure and complete in-home design calls.
* Select and price special order merchandise.
* Keep customer well informed about their order and any status changes.
* Maintain relationships with past clients and follow up with new leads.
* Maintain a Client Management Binder and manage open orders to exceed customer expectations and ensure satisfaction.
* Maintain knowledge of all product information and current leads.
* Utilize retail POS Systems.
* Organize and stock merchandise as necessary.
* Contribute to build and maintain a positive morale in store.
* Maintain a positive, upbeat and energetic demeanor.
* Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.
* Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
* Protect Company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention procedures.
* Demonstrate a high level of integrity and uphold all company policies, standards and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.


*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* The ability to be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
* Must have ability to safely lift minimum of 25 lbs. without restrictions
* Able to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
* Ability to use and climb ladders safely
* Requires ability to perform repetitive motions (i.e. hanging, folding, ringing up customers, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time

Store Hours:
* Monday-Friday: 10 am- 6 pm
* Saturday: 10 am- 5 pm
* Sunday: 11 am- 4 pm
_\*\* Team members hours start 15 minutes prior to store opening and end 15 minutes after store closing\*\*_


Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
* Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Work authorization:
* United States (Required)


Skills Needed:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to examine issues strategically and to determine priorities quickly


Compensations:
* $30,000 to $90,000+ based on sales performance.
