Job description


As assembly crew chief you receive orders from your supervisor, and you share responsibility in the output of assembly work to the spirals or their components within the given time.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-5am (4/10hr)
Key tasks
  • Work according to assignments, technical specifications and technical drawings
  • Assembling conveyors or their components
  • Fine tuning and testing of the machines according to technical specifications
  • Performing internal orders inventory and spares
  • Performing pre-assembly tasks through packaging/shipping tasks
  • Final inspection of spirals and FAT as needed
  • Training and guidance of new employees
  • Help assist with MES scheduling and the validation of time
  • Assist with looking up drawings in GOS
  • Periodically perform all-round tasks at external locations / foreign facilities
  • Participate actively to the development of the products and processes
  • Assist in creation of schedule and designation of work during shift
  • Fill in for Supervisor in event of absence
  • Assist supervisor in day-to-day activities
  • Lead by example
  • Addressing and training of new employees

Responsibilities
On top of the key tasks specified above:
  • Responsible for the quality and quantity of the delivered work
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and safety at the workplace and performance of the work according to the quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Responsible for safe, responsible use and daily checks of the provided machines and tools

Requirements
Minimum work experience of 3-4 years in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
