AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. Key job responsibilities
AWS Supply Chain Managers are responsible for tracking the status of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order using internal tools and processes

Manage, analyze, and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally. Work with vendors and Procurement to coordinate purchase order changes and approvals. Monitor and coordinate purchase order issuance and cancellations.

Track recurring issues that arise in the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order creation process and proactively recommend solutions to improve the process. Present the performance and metrics associated with the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order processes.
A day in the life
Key Responsibilities / Daily Activities include:
Manage a ticket queue
Issue POs and manage timely payment
Material/Inventory Planning
Supply/Demand planning and Forecasting
Maintaining continuity of supply (COS)
Communicating supply status, risks/mitigations to internal stakeholders and leadership
Working with data and analytics (ability to view, edit, and extrapolate data in Excel or similar spreadsheet software)
Working with suppliers/vendors, datacenters, and inventory warehousing teams
