Job description

Are you excited to drive high-visibility, strategic Analytics solutions to help streamline Amazon's capacity planning. NACP - Analytics & Science is seeking an experienced Senior BIE, to lead the business analytics, science & automation in partnership with Data Scientists, Supply Chain leaders and Engineers. Our mission is to simplify analytics with innovative Data/Science products.
This role is for a motivated individual with strong analytical, technical background to join us as Senior BIE

You will be responsible for designing and supporting best-in-class business analytics solutions and help leadership make impactful business decisions. You will own the design, development of analytics & science solutions to support key Capacity Planning initiatives. You will continue to raise the bar for creating scalable, efficient , automated processes for large-scale data analysis.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner extensively with Capacity Planning leaders and Supply Chain Planners proactively identify analytical needs, translate them to BIE/Science solution designs
- Design, develop, test solutions to ensure data management processes, visualization outputs are accurately representing the business insights
- Develop best practice to reduce coding effort by reuse where applicable; replace complex data handling steps with innovative design and simpler tools/utilities
- Work backwards from business KPIs used in operational decisions to design predictive science-based automation solutions
- Use AWS S3, Redshift, Athena, Quicksight, Tableau, LLM to produce reliable solutions

Enable seamless integration between BIE solutions and Strategic Planning, Excel models
- Mentor BIEs on the team. Partner with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Product Managers to identify innovation opportunities and scale solutions
A day in the life
They collaborate directly with customers (Sr. Manager, Principal Supply Chain Managers and Principal PMTs) to translate business issues to technical opportunity statements/requirements along with design concepts.
They collaborate cross functionally inspiring peers and stakeholders to adopt highest quality solutions and simplify processes.
About the team
NACP (North America Capacity Planning) oversees capacity planning for Amazon warehouses and IXDs

We plan and design Amazon warehouses and influence multiple retrofit projects to improve supply chain productivity. NACP is the cornerstone for optimizing ASIN placements in Amazon FCs, which improves Cost to Serve and Delivery Speed metrics for Amazon. The NACP team plays a critical role in establishing the foundation for Amazon warehouse network for maintenance and expansion over a 1-5 year horizon.
