Our client, a consumer products distributor located in Lachine, is looking for an experienced Warehouse and Building Manager to add to their team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse, staff (approx 10) and operations
- Ensure the quality, accuracy and safety of the warehouse staff
- Review and manage the customer shipping requirements - liaise with warehouse staff
- Manage customer orders - Re-shipping time lines and delegation for processing
- Assess and manage the order needs per inventory location
- Monitor and manage inbound goods for staffing and customer order integrity
- Advise management of potential order or receiving issues
- Review integrity of orders processed before submitting to billing
- Oversee and manage inventory control, processes and accuracy
- Review, report and consult of reports of cycle counts to finance and operations
- Assess, initiate and manage the needs of the warehouse operations, functions and efficiency
- Monitor and manage property integrity and maintenance
- Negotiate, manage and initiate building maintenance, contracts and repairs
- Manage integrity of warehouse condition, organization, cleanliness and equipment
- Validate and sign invoices for transport, supplies and equipment, repairs, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a warehouse manager
- Proficiency with excel, word
- Fluently bilingual
- Experience managing the daily duties of a staff of at least 5 people
- Experience shipping to major retail chains such as Walmart, Amazon, Shoppers Drug, Loblaws
