Job description


Stand8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.


The Sr. Infrastructure Systems Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, securing, monitoring, and supporting on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This six-month contract role provides senior-level technical expertise, Tier 3 support, project execution, and technical guidance to other IT team members. The position supports Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud, database, monitoring, security, and backup technologies across the enterprise environment. Success in this role requires independent ownership of complex technical issues and effective collaboration across IT teams.


Location & Work Type


Location: Commerce, CA or Phoenix, AZ
Work Type: Hybrid - minimum three days onsite per week, with Wednesday onsite attendance required


Key Responsibilities



  • Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune.

  • Manage Windows Server patching and vulnerability remediation using Tenable.

  • Install, maintain, and support SUSE Linux, including SAP MII environments.

  • Administer and support Nutanix, Nutanix AHV, and VMware infrastructure.

  • Support AWS Windows Server environments and Amazon RDS for Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Monitor infrastructure and database performance using Datadog and PRTG.

  • Support security technologies including CrowdStrike and Tripwire SIEM.

  • Manage enterprise digital certificates and certificate renewals.

  • Administer Rubrik backup, recovery, and restore operations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 infrastructure and Helpdesk escalations.

  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and system-improvement initiatives.

  • Mentor junior system administrators and Helpdesk technicians.

  • Collaborate with security analysts and provide technical knowledge and training.

  • Work with infrastructure teams to define project scope, requirements, and implementation plans.

  • Execute infrastructure projects and coordinate activities across IT teams.

  • Maintain technical documentation and promote infrastructure best practices.


Qualifications


Required:


Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, security, virtualization, cloud technologies, and monitoring. Must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, communicate technical information clearly, and take ownership of projects and complex technical issues

Additional Details


The base range for this contract position is $65 - $75 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
