Job description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we provide world-class, flexible, scalable, and secure cloud services to the world's fastest growing startups, the largest enterprises, and leading government agencies. We do this by building, maintaining, and securing one of the largest, most complex infrastructures in the world. Within AWS, the Infrastructure Security - Compliance organization is responsible translating information security policies, regulations, customer expectations, and threats into Infrastructure and Supply Chain security outcomes for Builders across the global AWS infrastructure.
Key job responsibilities
The AWS InfraSec-Compliance organization is looking for a Technical Program Manager with deep expertise in program and project management to join us in building and maturing our infrastructure security programs

In this role, you will be responsible for managing campaigns and initiatives to improve the security posture of the AWS infrastructure. You will leverage relationships with device owners, network and infrastructure engineers, and leaders throughout AWS to prioritize deliverables, escalate roadblocks, and improve organizational processes. You will build trust with software developers and security engineers by leveraging your technical knowledge to understand challenges, design improved solutions, and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our customers.

Finally, you will use your information security expertise to champion and drive risk-based decisions across complex, multi-disciplinary programs to ensure AWS properly manages risk to our infrastructure.
AWS leads and innovates. We don't just buy off-the-shelf software or follow others.

We research and pursue the best approach for the business, whether that's building new solutions or leveraging existing ones. Amazon Web Services, and Infrastructure Security in particular, operate at massive scale and as a result, demand the highest standards, passion, and discipline for information security and software engineering. A high level of ownership and accountability is a must for this role.
