As an Associate Software Development Engineer supporting Delta's Finance, Legal and Global Communications technology domain, you will help design, configure, maintain, and optimize digital experiences that connect, inform, and engage both customers and employees. While a significant portion of this role will focus on supporting Delta's digital signage platforms and communication technologies, team members are expected to work across a variety of products, applications, and initiatives within the broader domain based on business priorities and organizational needs.

This role is ideal for a technically curious individual who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and translating business requirements into effective solutions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and fellow technologists to design, configure, test, support, and optimize applications that deliver meaningful experiences to both customers and employees.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities, and contributing wherever needed to help the team and business succeed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, configure, and maintain digital signage experiences using vendor-provided platforms and content management tools.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into effective digital signage solutions that enhance customer and employee experiences across Delta facilities and operational environments.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and support digital content, layouts, templates, and workflows across digital signage channels and related communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Analyze system behavior, content performance, and operational data to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support integrations between digital signage platforms and enterprise data sources, APIs, content repositories, and operational systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to content delivery, display behavior, application performance, and platform functionality.
  • Participate in testing activities, including functional, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing, to ensure reliable deployments.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, technical solutions, and operational support procedures.
  • Support security, compliance, governance, and change management processes by adhering to enterprise technology standards and controls.
  • Assist with monitoring platform health, content distribution, and operational metrics to ensure a seamless and reliable user experience.
  • Contribute to the support and delivery of other technologies and platforms within the Digital Experience and Communications domain as business needs evolve.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve team capabilities and solution delivery.
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
