Lead process improvement initiatives to re-engineer intermodal workflows (e.g., container scheduling, drayage assignment, tour split reduction) and drive root cause elimination of operational defects
Resolve real-time disruptions including container movement failures, drayage breaks, carrier rejections, and scheduling conflicts while minimizing customer impact in a fast-paced environment
Escalate system issues, data variances, and operational breakdowns to relevant technology and program teams; own follow-through to ensure timely resolution
Develop and own intermodal KPIs (on-time performance, container dwell, cost per load, empty mile reduction) to drive operational excellence and financial outcomes
Lead and develop a team of operations associates through regular 1:1 coaching, performance management, and real-time operational direction
Partner with Amazon transportation technology teams to scope business and functional requirements for tool enhancements and new feature development
Support new lane launches, shipper onboarding, and capacity planning in coordination with Sales and Supply Chain teams
