Distribution Coordinator - 1st Shift
The Distribution Coordinator position in Rochester, NY offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic distribution team. This company is known for its commitment to operational excellence and innovative logistics solutions.
6 month contract, but could go permanent for the right person. 
Shift of the Distribution Coordinator: 
8-4:30 PM M-F
Pay Rate/Salary of the Distribution Coordinator:
$22.50/hr
Responsibilities of the Distribution Coordinator:
  • Perform various physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
  • Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records and rejecting unsatisfactory items.
  • Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, including posting weights and shipping charges.
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
Qualifications of the Distribution Coordinator:
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and stores, along with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
  • 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Ability to complete tasks creatively and effectively, demonstrating considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Forklift experience, Oracle/ERP experience, and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
