The Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations (SMGS Ops) mission is to enable the AWS field ("sellers") organization to be the most efficient and effective in the world. Our goal is to reduce inefficiencies and overall cost of sales while identifying opportunities to accelerate revenue growth. Our team deliver the tools, data, mechanism, and processes that drive new sales strategies to accelerate revenue growth and more efficient cost of sales.
Key job responsibilities
As the right candidate, you will possess a strong program management background, have demonstrated experience leading large projects, and have a well-rounded technical background

You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

Ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. About the team
The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations (SMGS Ops) Revenue engineering team is responsible for publishing Revenue. This is used by downstream customers in AWS Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, Segmentation & Planning (S&P), Data & Analytics and Compensation to set quotas, manage sales goals, forecast, and derive business insights

We collect and process billions of usage and billing transactions every single day and relate it to the largest data feed supported by Salesforce.com. We transform this raw data into actionable information and make it available to our customers in the Data Lake.
