Job description

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers — warehouses, 3PLs, and e-commerce brands looking for a better way to manage their inventory and fulfillment operations. You'll learn our platform inside and out, identify and qualify leads, and set up demos. This is a great entry point into B2B SaaS sales with a clear path toward growth opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Research and identify potential customers in the warehousing, logistics, and ecommerce fulfillment space.

• Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.

• Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify prospects based on their operational needs.

• Schedule and coordinate product demos between qualified prospects and Account Executives.

• Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and pipeline activity in our CRM.

• Learn the Burton WMS/OMS platform thoroughly so you can speak confidently about its features and value to prospects.

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and identify new opportunities.

• Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generated. What We're Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to make outbound calls and handle rejection.

• Comfort learning and navigating new software platforms.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks at once.

• A curious, coachable mindset — open to feedback and eager to learn.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, or warehousing terminology (SKU, 3PL, ASN, EDI, inbound/outbound, fulfillment).

• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role.

• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

• Experience with cold outreach tools (e.g., Outreach, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.

• Hands-on training on our WMS/OMS platform and B2B SaaS sales process.

• A clear career path toward other sales leadership roles.

• A collaborative, fast-paced team environment with real opportunities for growth.
