Smiles for Miles is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. We have both 1 person and 2 person routes available. 1 person routes deliver packages 50-70 pounds in a cargo van and 2 person routes deliver packages over 70 pounds in larger box trucks. Unlike the smaller Amazon vans you see on the road, we deliver the "Big and Bulky" packages for Amazon, using larger box trucks and two associates per route. Job Description

Compensation: $22.25 - $25.75 per hour

Shift Time(s): 6:30am and 7:15am start times

What You’ll Do as a Delivery Driver or Driver Helper-

  • As a Cargo Van Delivery Driver, you’ll drive a cargo van delivering 30-60 packages a day
  • As a Box Truck Delivery Driver, you’ll drive a DOT regulated box truck delivering 30-60 packages a day
  • As a Helper, you’ll support the driver to load and deliver 30-60 packages a day
  • Handle large bulky products utilizing proper equipment with weights ranging from 50-300lbs (team lift)
  • Work 4 or more days per week and up to 10 hours per day including breaks with shifts available 7 days a week
  • Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
  • Deliver and install packages as a fully completed product (Driver/Helper routes only)
Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Must be at least 18 years old (Helper role) or 21 years old (Driver role) with eligibility to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid chauffeurs driver's license (DOT Deliver Driver role) or valid form of identification (Driver Helper role)
  • Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle report. (Driving violations will disqualify you from the position)
  • Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
  • Adhere to yard safety policies, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions
