Amazon Robotics is the global leader of robotics innovation. Our diverse team of engineers come from all over the world to design, test and build our dynamic fleet of robots and mechatronic systems. Current advancements are underway in autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more.

The Amazon Robotics (AR) Technology Enablement Services (TES) team builds and supports systems and processes that make Amazon Robotics planning, manufacturing, and launching seamless. Our team is looking for an innovative, results-oriented Software Development Engineer (SDE) to build solutions supporting our existing and future state manufacturing and supply chain operations. We are focused on designing scalable solutions that support the Robotics scaling as we build and deliver the next generation of robots.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of solving highly complex business problems, and is passionate about people, software engineering, and system architecture. Successful candidates will be a high-bandwidth SDE who can cut through the noise, simplify relentlessly, deliver results, and develop integrated digital solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Design and architect technical solutions that delight customers
Set the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance by designing solutions to be highly-available, dynamically scalable, and resilient to continuity threats
Minimize technical debt, while ensuring solutions are easy to use and maximize efficiency
Provide technical guidance and consulting to our business partners
Work across teams to design and develop systems which integrate hardware and software
Create production-ready systems which can be deployed at Amazon scale
