From drones to grocery stores and everything in between, our mission is to assess risk, classify data and systems, detect potential intrusion, and respond quickly to security events across Amazon's critical business functions, including Retail, Customer Service, Worldwide Operations, Consumer Payments, Physical Stores, and Healthcare. Within Stores Security, the Vulnerability Management and Remediation (VMR) organization is responsible for all aspects of the Vulnerability Management lifecycle across Amazon including intake, assessment, discovery, and remediation.
VMR Campaign Management is seeking an experienced and innovative Security Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. VMR Campaign Management assesses, triages, and drives the remediation of security, compliance, and privacy risks across the Amazon ecosystem both strategically and at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- You will create and launch campaigns at scale while being responsible for maintaining a high security and quality bar.
- You will deeply understand and assess the technical details and potential impact of security campaigns across Amazon's infrastructure, services, and applications, as well as reduce manual remediation and builder toil through automation and paved path solutions.
- You will work with security teams to identify preventative security measures to address current and future risk.
- You will design and implement automation, tools and workflows to enhance our operations capabilities.
